• Universal Extractor полностью портативен, за некоторыми исключениями:
- Включение записей контекстного меню создаст записи реестра. Просто оставьте его отключенным и никаких следов быть не должно.
- Для извлечения файлов самых разных типов используются более 50 различных экстракторов. Некоторые из них могут оставить след в системе. Для наиболее распространенных архивов и установщиков извлечение можно считать переносимым, для других - нет.
- Если UniExtract не имеет прав на запись в свой каталог (например, когда он установлен в каталоге программных файлов), файлы конфигурации хранятся в каталоге - C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Bioruebe\UniExtract. См. Выпуск №20 для получения дополнительной информации.
- Если вы хотите запустить его в портативном режиме, убедитесь, что он находится в другом месте.
* При открытии мультимедийного файла будет предложено загрузить FFmpeg. Нужно согласиться и загрузить этот компонент.
* Важно: Некоторые распаковщики, входящие в состав программы, не распаковывают инсталляторы если в пути к инсталлятору содержатся кириллические символы!

* Системные Требования:
• Windows XP or newer. However, outdated version of Windows only have limited support:
- Windows 7: sending feedback requires you to follow this guide by Microsoft, otherwise it will fail
- Windows XP: any online functionality, such as the updater or the feedback dialog, is disabled for security reasons. Also some extractors might not work.
* (Online functionality for these systems might be restored in a future version of Universal Extractor.)

Просто откройте диалоговое окно настроек (из меню «Правка») и установите флажок - "Бета-обновления".
В следующий раз, когда вы будете искать обновления, вы получите сборку для разработки вместо версии выпуска.
После повторного отключения этой опции вы можете вернуться к последней стабильной версии, просто обновив.
* В некоторых случаях нужно будет перезапустить Universal Extractor 2 чтобы выполнить поиск обновлений и возврат к последней стабильной версии, или к самой последней разрабатываемой версии Nightly.
