В 2002-м году, Kai Arnold из города Хемниц (Германия) основал группу Wynardtage. Этот мощный dark electro проект буквально сразу же пробил себе дорогу на германскую сцену, оставив позади множество конкурентов.
Дебютный альбом Wynardtage «Waste Of Time» был выпущен в сентябре 2005 года и в самое короткое время композиции «Sterbehilfe» и «Figures In The Mirror» взяли штурмом танцполы немецких андерграундных клубов.
В июне 2006 года ограниченным тиражом в 166 копий вышел сплит Wynardtage и Acylum (сайд-проект Kai Arnold) под названием «Lords Of Darkness». В ноябре того же года Wynardtage выпускает второй альбом «Evil Mind», новое порождение злобного разума и беспокойной души Kai Arnold.
В декабре 2007 года Wynardtage выпускает новый, третий альбом «Praise The Fallen», который моментально достигает 4-й позиции в DAC-чартах.
Фирменный стиль Wynardtage — комбинирование интенсивных, жестких и хрустящих электронных битов и мрачных минорных мелодий. Для достижения необходимого звучания Kai Arnold использует метод прерывания аранжировок, чтобы сделать их более зловещими, а сэмплы струнных инструментов, звучащие подобно целому оркестру, еще больше подчеркивают гнетущее настроение. Отдельным сюрпризом для слушателя может стать композиция «When We Are Gone» с завораживающим женским вокалом и брейк-битовыми барабанными партиями.
