Green Sketches are an instrumental extension of anom's début album
The Serenity's Eve and its fictional Park topography. The EP explores a quieter, more minimalist and meditative side of anom.
The four tracks refer to four corners of the Park, although its boundaries are never fully defined. Each track is performed with two instruments only and consists of two equal parts, with acoustic guitar playing exactly the same melody twice. Each piece can be looped ad infinitum - a hint at the labyrinthine nature of the Park: even as you reach what seems to be its edge, you are trapped in a ceaseless repetition, a process without end. Every path leads nowhere.
