Shindhu is a female vocal and instrumental ensemble based in the UK. The group was founded in 1984 by Udasina Hansford. The initial group recorded four albums. Later Udasina made two solo albums, before reforming the group with a more international composition.

A few members of the group are professionally trained musicians, (Udasina studied piano and classical guitar at the Royal Academy of Music) but most are women who have discovered their love of music and capacity for singing through singing the music of Sri Chinmoy.
