* Группа образована в 1967 году в Северной Ирландии. Стартовала в качестве трио под названием «The Method» в Северной Ирландии. В 1968 году музыканты переехали в Лондон, изменив название на «Andwellas’s Dream». После выхода первого альбома имя сократилось до «Andwella».
* Тогда группа записала один альбом «Love And Poetry» (CBS), исполненный в психоделических тонах… Но время диктовало новые музыкальные реалии, группа увеличилась до квартета и была переименована в «Andwella». Обновленный состав: David Lewis (вокал, гитара, орган), Dave McDougall (фортепьяно, орган), Dave Struthers (бас, вокал) и Jack McCulloch (перкуссия). Движущей силой и бессменным участником являлся Левис, именно он переориентировал команду играть набиравший силу и ставший востребованным прогрессивный рок. Позже эволюционировала и стала называться «The Method».
* Этот состав выпустил альбом «World's End», прежде чем Dave Struthers заменил Nigel Smith (бас) и присоединился барабанщик Jack McCullock. Уже этот состав записал последний альбом группы «People's People» в 1971 году, после чего группа распалась в 1972 году.

* Andwella was a British, Irish band formed in 1968, originally as «The Method» and then «Andwella's Dream». The trio was fronted by Dave Lewis (Guitar, keyboard, vocals), with Nigel Smith (bass, vocals) and Gordon Barton (drums). In 1968 musicians have moved to London, having changed the name to Andwellas’s Dream. After an exit of the first album and with the addition of Dave McDougall on guitar and vocals, the band was renamed Andwella.
* Their first album, as «Andwella's Dream», Love and Poetry, was recorded in London in 1968, and featured jazz musician Bob Downes on saxophone and flute. However, the album failed to sell, and Lewis then recorded a solo album, privately pressed, on the Ax label in 1970; which included new versions of some of the «Andwella's Dream» songs.
* This line-up issued World's End, before Dave Struthers replaced Nigel Smith on bass and Jack McCullock joined as drummer. This lineup recorded the bands' last album, «People's People», in 1971, after which the band broke up in 1972.
* Then the group has written down one album «Love And Poetry» (CBS) executed in psychodelic tones … But time dictated new musical realities, the group has increased to a quartet. The updated structure: David Lewis (vocal, guitar, body), Dave McDougall (piano, body), Dave Struthers (bass, vocal) and Jack McCulloch (perkussiya). A motive power and the permanent participant was Levis, it reoriented team to play gaining in strength and become demanded progressive fate. Evolved later and to be called as «The Method». On the first album can be distinguished close to the blues instrumental Michael Fitzhenry and decorated with orchestral arrangements a monumental cloth of «World's End». On the second - the acoustic ballad Saint Bartholomew pays attention. It is republished in 2002 on «Progressive Line» label.
