They have traveled extensively around the world to sacred sites and worked with and studied with the spiritual elders of many indigenous tribes. Originally from England, they are currently living in the highlands of Scotland off-grid, working toward self-sufficiency and sustainability, staying close to nature.
The music on Sacred Alliance works in some world-music influences such as the guzheng stringed instrument from China, the duduk reed instrument from Armenia, and the digeridoo from Australia. These are joined by Western instruments ranging from the electronic (synthesizers) to acoustic (piano, guitar, violin, cello, a string section).
