Ice_Eyes Discography
Ice_Eyes is an Athens based duo started by Anastasios Tatsis and Spiros Alfa. in 2012. At the beginning the duo was recording and performing live improvisations of techno/ambient/electronica. As former DJs both members had a liking in these genres. Eventually, they practiced a variety of elements in electronic music, so their first full album release "Quartz" LP came in 2014 on domestic Greek label Nutty Wombat Records. Between their first and second album there was a change in their way of recording. So, sample processing was added to their typical hardware set up of drum machine/synths, getting them into sound design, too. "New Frame" on Seagrave in 2016 describes this swift in their way of working/expressing. Their latest material was selected and played by lots of well known artists producers in shows like NTS, Dekmantel, Rinse FM, and more. At the moment, Ice_Eyes are working on new material, with recordings between Athens and Berlin.
